Through his generosity, he supported Sport North's KidSport Golf Tournament, benefiting countless children throughout the NWT. His vision and kindness have allowed children to participate in sports and embrace an active role in their lives.

In 2023, the first Roger Walker Memorial Golf Tournament raised over $32,000 for KidSport in the NWT! We are excited for another successful event in 2023, and we invite you to be part of the positive impact.

The 3rd Annual Roger Walker Memorial Golf Tournament in support of KidSport NWT was a resounding success despite the cloudy skies and threatening rain. The event brought together 26 enthusiastic teams, showcasing the community's unwavering support and dedication to helping children participate in sports.

Even with the weather's unpredictability, the tournament proceeded with high spirits and a strong sense of camaraderie among participants. Golfers of all skill levels enjoyed the challenging course and the day's activities, undeterred by the looming clouds. The event's atmosphere was filled with excitement and a shared commitment to the cause.

One of the standout achievements of the tournament was the impressive fundraising outcome. Through the generous contributions of participants, sponsors, and donors, the event raised over $30,000. This substantial amount will significantly support KidSport NWT's mission to eliminate financial barriers and provide more opportunities for children to engage in sports.
